The 79th Birthday Salute to David Amram at Insomniacathon On-Line! celebrates his creative pioneering work
and collaborations with stars from the worlds of music, literature theater and film. Join us in celebrating over FIFTY YEARS of Amram vibration collaborations since moving to New York City in 1955.

I first met Dave on the eve before New Years Eve 2002 at Casa Del Sol in Nyack, NY. He and Frank Messina, whom I just started working with, were gigging. Since then we've been bopping into each other, shared some stages and alot of laughs and Love on this road where we all roam.

Dave, Here's to You, here's to us and to the road that lays before us! See you further on down the way!

At the last Odes to The Sidewalks of New York celebration at The Bowery Poetry Club David intimates his 04' tripto Chengdu, China in a story, a poem and
a song that turns into a
BPC Sing Along!

Part I David tells the story of trying to master a Simple Sentence in Mandarin and even with the best of intention, manages to mangle it a tad.

Part II David tells the tale of a Wife from another Life in his EpiPoem.My Bhudda Angel From Chengdu .

Part III Sooth segues to ScatSong and David and The Trio kick Meandering
in Mandarin!

Part IV With the crowd well primed, the BPC resounds en masse Wah Hung Gow Shi Lao Tao New York!

On a beautiful late Summer night, The Bowery Poetry Club hosted "Diamonds In The Sidewalks" with David Amram and his quartet celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the publishing of Jack Kerouac's "On The Road."

Joining David in this celebration of sounds and sooth was Tim Moran, John Ventimiglia, Adira Amram, Russell Brand, Casey Cyr, Ron Whitehead, Frank Messina, Katinka Klein and Jose Pacheco along with the super sonic support of Kevin Twigg, John DeWitt and Adam Amram and Erik Lawrence.
